Prof. Yi-shan Pan presents CEI CEO Mr.Charles Sun with his certificate
On December 25th,2016 the 2nd Board of Directors of the Liaoning University Education Foundation (LUEF) held its first session at the Chongshan campus of Liaoning University.
CEI CEO Mr.Charles Sun, was invited to attend the meeting where he was awarded a certificate of appointment to become a member of the Board of Directors.
The meeting which was hosted by the Secretary General Xu Zhenli also included the Secretary General and Vice President of the 2nd Board of Directors Professor Xu Ping who delivered the ”Report on the work of the first LUEF Board”. He was followed by Professor Yi-shan Pan, the President of the 2nd Board, who spoke about the aims of the 2nd Board titled “Prospects of the 2nd Board, LUEF”. During the meeting, all the directors were thanked for their invaluable work done for the first Board, and a discussion was held to talk about the future development of the 2nd Board. At the end of the meeting, Professor Pan awarded a certificate of appointment to Mr. Charles Sun and a further ten members of the Board.
The LUEF, is approved by Liaoning Province’s Department of Education and is a private education foundation. It maintains a close relationship with people from all walks of life, with the aim of helping to raise and manage funds which will help less privileged students. As a decision-making body, the duty of the Board is to lead, co-ordinate and manage the work of the LUEF.
CEI is a leader in the transnational education industry in China and is one of the earliest service providers in the country. CEI’s flagship transnational projects include the Asia Australian Business College (“AABC”) at Liaoning University, which is approved by the Ministry of Education. The disciplines of the AABC includes, but are not limited to International Trade, Professional accounting and International Finance. The programs offered to students are quite flexible, as students are free to choose from three different programs, such as 4+0, 3+1, 2+2. In addition, students are entitled to special bi-national degrees after graduation, which will enhance their career potential in both China and Australia. Around 40 percent of undergraduates from the AABC are accepted by the world’s top 100 universities.
