CEI celebrates its Transnational Education Programs

CEI celebrates its Transnational Education Programs & the new semester 2016 with four big events!


CEI is currently marking the prestigious event of having four commencement ceremonies to launch its Transnational Education Programs for 2016/17. 

At Liaoning Universities Asia Australian Business College Commencement ceremony, 429 freshmen with top academic scores at Chinese national universities entrance exams attended the event. Among the freshmen, 38 science students had admission scores which were higher than the requirement for first-tier universities in China. After the Commencement ceremony was over the freshmen attended an education seminar.

            

A number of officials attended the ceremony, including Mr. XU Ping, vice president of Liaoning University, Mr. HAN Yi, president of the Asia Australian Business College, Mr. Brendan McCarthy, Director of Learning & Teaching Dept. at Victoria University in Australia, Mr. Rhys Williams, Director of International Development Dept. at Victoria University, Charles Sun, CEO of CEI, and Mr. Wang Tao, the vice president of CEI.    

The International Education College at Henan University also held a Commencement ceremony recently with five hundred freshmen attending. Officials in attendance at this event included Mr. SUN Junjian, vice president of Henan University, Mr. ZHAO Xinsun, president of the International Education College, Ms. GUAN Hefeng, Party Secretary of the International Education College; Mr. Rhys Williams, Director of International Development at Victoria University, Mr. YUE Tao, international project manager at Victoria University. 

From this year, Henan University will start a comprehensive collaboration with Victoria University (VU) in Australia. Apart from all-round cooperation, students involved in the Transnational Education Program will not only acquire a Bachelor’s degree from an overseas university, they will also get to choose a more flexible program for studying abroad. 

       

CEI’s Transnational Education Program with VU and the Shandong Jianzhu University recruited more than one hundred and sixty students this year. The attending officials at the Commencement event included Mr. WU Bin, vice president of the Shandong Jianzhu University, Mr. HU Ning, president of the Business College, Mr. LI Xiao, Director of the International Office, Mr. Brendan McCarthy, Director of the Learning and Teaching Dept. at VU, Mr. Rhys Williams, Director of International Development Dept. at VU, Mr. YUE Tao, international project manager at VU, and Mr. WANG Tao, vice president of CEI. 

     

The Asia-Australia International College at the City College of Huizhou also held a Commencement event, and this year the college recruited two hundred and twenty one students. Many of the aforementioned education officials attended the event which also included Ms YAN Linan, vice president of the City College of Huizhou. 

The Asia-Australia International College at Huizhou is the first successful education project under the ‘One Belt, One Belt initiative. Next July the college will see its first transnational students studying at VU in Melbourne, Australia.
