EDUWO International Kindergarten staff attending the Shijiazhuang Preschool College Job Fair
Eduwo International kindergartens is a subsiduary company of CEI and operates 5 international kindergartens across China. Our kindergartens are located in Beijing, Tianjin, Shenyang and Harbin. In order to recruit a steady supply of talented teachers for our kindergartens, the decision was made to set up a special internship program. The first Eduwo Internship Program will be set up at Beiyuan kindergarten which is in northern Beijing.
On October 22nd, members of CEI's HR dept, plus the principal and teachers from Beiyuan kindergarten headed to the city of Shijiazhuang in Hebei Province. The purpose for the trip was to attend a job fair at the Shijiazhuang Preschool Teachers College with the aim of recruiting students from the College for our internship program.
Shijiazhuang Preschool Teachers College has hundreds of talented students and graduates working in a number of local primary schools and kindergartens. The students of this college have been recognized for their all-round abilities especially with subjects like music, the arts and the English language. They are excellent candidates for the Eduwo Internship Program.
About six hundred well-known schools and kindergartens were represented at the job fair, with about 60 percent coming from Shijiazhuang and 40 percent from cities nearby. Over a thousand students attended the event but the Eduwo team soon realised that many of those students at the job fair were reluctant to leave their hometowns, so the Beiyuan recruiting team adjusted its strategy by making the application procedure much easier. By the end of the event the team had successfully recruited 11 students to its first internship program.
The students who enrolled for the program are talented in specific ways, so the internship program at Beiyuan Kindergarten will help train them in many different subjects to help them become more popular teachers for kids.
