Shenyang is also a celebrated old city with more than 2,000 years of history which can be traced back to Warring States Period (476 BC - 221 BC). It is the birthplace of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), and has many cultural sites which symbolize the prosperity and subsequent decline of China's last feudal dynasty... The most famous of these is the Shenyang Imperial Palace , which is of great historical and cultural significance and second only to the famed Forbidden City in Beijing. Two other famous imperial structures worth seeing includes The Fuling Tomb and the Zhaoling Tomb which were built during the Qing Dynasty.
