BIT welcomes many international delegations to its campus

     BIT continues to welcome many international delegations from around the world


The Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) is a very popular education establishment in China which gets many international delegations from leading universities around the world. 

In recent weeks BIT has been visited by Lori A. Hurvitz, Director of Alumni Engagement & Annual Giving from the University of Chicago, who visited the Alumni Association of the Beijing Institute of Technology with her colleagues.

An official delegation from the Laotian Ministry of Education visited BIT on September 26, 2017 The group was led by Khamlusa Novansavanh, director of the Student Affairs Department, of the Ministry of Education (Laos). Yang Bin, executive vice- president of BIT met and welcomed the Laotian delegation.

The President of the University of Dar es Salaam Rwekaza S.Mukandala lead a delegation of officials to BIT on September 28. The delegation was warmly welcomed by BIT's President Hu Haiyan, executive vice-president Yang Bin and assistant to the president Long Teng. Hu Haiyan welcomed President Rwekaza S.Mukandala’s first visit to BIT, and he reviewed the cooperation and communication between the two schools since 2012 and introduced the latest developments at BIT.

On the morning of October 13, the vice-president of the Technical University of Madrid, Asunción Gómez-Pérez, lead a delegation of his colleagues to the Beijing Institute of Technology. Mei Hong, vice-president of BIT met the guests and welcomed the vice-president Asunción Gómez-Pérez who was on his first visit to BIT.  Mei Hong then reviewed the projects and student-teacher communications between BIT and the UPM since 2005, and he also introduced the latest scientific research progress from BIT.
