CEI marks its 21st anniversary at its 2017 AGM

CEI CEO & Director General Mr.Charles Sun welcomes his staff to the company 2017 AGM


China Education International (CEI) celebrated its 21st anniversary at the weekend at the companies Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was held at the China Open University Convention Center in Daxing, Beijing. 

The event was hosted by CEI CEO and Director General Charles Sun who invited both the CEI and Eduwo International Kindergarten staff from around China to join the celebration. This included staff representitives from the company branches in Harbin, Shenyang, Zhengzhou and also Beijing. 

The CEI AGM reviewed the previous years vibrant business performances of both the CEI company and the Eduwo Kindergarten Group, and also featured a number of motivational presentations, speeches and also special recognition awards to staff. 

   

Since CEI formed in Melbourne, Australia over two decades ago, its seen considerable success in both the domestic and international education industry. It has sent more than 20 thousand Chinese students to study abroad at universities in Australia, the UK and the USA. 

It has also become a leader in the transnational education field, and has already set up many successful projects between prestigious universities in China and overseas. The companies flagship transnational projects include the Asia Australian Business College at Liaoning University which was founded in 1999. 

The College of International Education at Henan University was founded in 2003 and also programs between the Beijing Institute of Technology and the Australian National University.

Other programs include an A-level Continuing Education Center at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which was set up in 2012, and in 2015 an agreement was signed between the China Australian International College and the City College of Huizhou.

        

2016 was a particularly busy year for the company, as it hosted a number of high profile university delegations to China from Australia and the UK. CEI also worked closely with the China Overseas Investment group (COI) to help set up the BRETC also known as the 'Belts & Road Education and Training Council' which represents Chinese education companies interested in investing in One Belt One Road countries.

The companies sister company the Eduwo group has branched out into China's Early Childhood Learning industry with its hugely popular international kindergartens called Eduwokids. Eduwokids is currently operating very successful international kindergartens in cities like Beijing, Tianjin, Shenyang and Harbin.

       


CEI's head office is currently located in Beijing, China. It also has branch offices in Harbin, Tianjin and Shenyang. The companies international office is located in Melbourne, Australia.
